Colour fired in
Enamel is an inorganic glaze fired onto the aluminium. It is hard, resistant to scratching and chemicals, holds colour better than fluorocarbon and does not fade.
It is used for metro stations, hospitals and coastal buildings, both inside and out. Matt, semi-matt and gloss finishes are available, and local patterns can be printed before firing.
