Let the eye pass through
Expanded mesh is produced by slitting and stretching aluminium sheet into a diamond pattern. Nothing is wasted, and the result is stiffer than the flat sheet it came from.
It is used for metro, airport and car-park ceilings and column cladding, and as façade shading screens. Backlit, the mesh produces a layered, translucent effect.
